Twenty years ago, LeBron James was in the position of Bronny, as he was one of the top high school basketball players in the country at the time. His talent and fame gave him the opportunity to show off his prowess in front of the nation, even before he was a superstar in the NBA.

In 2003, LeBron participated in the McDonald's All-American Dunk Contest, where he took home the trophy. In the final moments of the contest, he went up against Shannon Brown, known for his outstanding athletic abilities, which made the competition between them exciting.

James took home the win and solidified his place as one of the best high flyers in the sport. However, he didn't continue his dunk contest participation at the professional level despite fans' wishes.

He's now in his 20th season in the league and with his recent injuries, it looks like he won't be participating in any dunk contest anytime soon.
