Listing New York Knicks' NBA 2K25 ratings for all players ft. Jalen Brunson and more

As the NBA season gets closer and closer, 2K Sports has released the ratings for all teams in the much-awaited NBA 2K25. Among those teams was the New York Knicks, led by All-Star Jalen Brunson, who scored an overall rating of 94 for this year’s version.

Brunson’s rating came after his stellar 2023–2024 performance, where he averaged 28.7 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 6.7 assists to lead the Knicks to the second round, where they were just a win away from being in the Eastern Conference finals.

Brunson worked his way up to one of the highest-rated players in 2K. As a rookie in 2018, the former Dallas Maverick netted a 70 rating before gradually raising it to 83 in his first season with the Knicks in 2022.

Last year, Brunson was rated 88 by 2K Sports, but that rating increased during the season as the former second-round pick played his best basketball last season.

Let us look at how 2K rated the Knicks' players.

Knicks' stars think the team is "going to be very good."

Aside from their superstar, the New York Knicks have been one of the most intriguing teams in the league after their offseason moves, which added star power to their core.

The Knicks acquired Mikal Bridges from the Brooklyn Nets in one of the most significant moves this season. However, the team lost Isaiah Hartenstein in free agency following his impressive playoff run last season.

Jalen Brunson and Donte DiVincenzo have been two of the biggest cogs for the Knicks, and they both think that the team will remain excellent next season under head coach Tom Thibodeau.

In a report by Stefan Bondy of the New York Post, Divicenzo remained confident about the team next season, considering the personnel added to their roster during the offseason.

"Whatever team we have, I think we’re going to be very good,” DiVincenzo said. "No matter what happens the rest of the offseason, I think overall everybody is going to come back and get better."

Divicenzo also addressed how important Thibodeau's system is to the team, especially now that some new players are entering the squad for next season.

"I think with (Thibs), there’s always a foundation, it doesn’t matter who is on the court. No matter who is on the team, I think we got a sense and we got a taste of what we can do and how we can take that next step and I think every single person in the organization is going to do everything they can to take that next step.”

Brunson also lauded his coach for the team's recent success, citing his desire to win.

"This man is just dedicated to what he wants to do. And it's win. He is a competitor. He loves to compete, even as a coach. It's amazing to see," Brunson said of Thibodeau.

The Knicks will have a five-game preseason slate starting October 6 to start their 2024–2025 campaign.
