Luka Doncic's mother Mirjam Poterbin reacts to Mavericks superstar's spectacular display vs. Steph Curry's Warriors
Luka Doncic delivered a sensational performance, leading the Dallas Mavericks to a commanding 143-133 victory over the Steph Curry-led Golden State Warriors on Sunday. In a showdown between two superstars at the Chase Center, Doncic outshined Curry with a dominant triple-double in a hostile environment.
Following her son's incredible display, Doncic's mother, Mirjam Poterbin, took to Instagram to celebrate his performance. She shared a story highlighting the Slovenian superstar’s dominance, using three emojis to encapsulate his game-winning effort against the Warriors.
The Warriors struggled to contain Doncic’s offensive onslaught. The five-time All-Star showcased his full arsenal, effortlessly scoring and orchestrating plays. Against single defenders, he relied on his strength and skill to knock down shots at will. When double-teamed, Doncic utilized his elite court vision to find open teammates, making the Warriors pay at every turn.
Doncic capped off his night with one of his most commanding performances of the season, stuffing the stat sheet with 45 points, 11 rebounds, 13 assists, three steals and two blocks in 38 minutes. He shot an efficient 16 of 23 from the field, including 6 of 11 from beyond the arc.
Meanwhile, Steph Curry delivered a solid performance with a double-double, but his efforts were eclipsed by Doncic's brilliance. Curry finished with 26 points, five rebounds and 10 assists, but it wasn’t enough to counter Doncic’s masterclass.
