Luka Doncic and Slovenia's 2025 EuroBasket Schedule: All Details and Matchups
Fresh off his scintillating start with the LA Lakers this past season, Luka Doncic is set to join the Slovenian national team at the 2025 FIBA EuroBasket. At stake for Doncic and his teammates is national pride, along with a chance to build momentum for the 2027 FIBA Basketball World Cup in Qatar.

As it turns out, the tune-up to the EuroBasket tournament won't be a walk in the park for Slovenia. While Slovenia is right up there in the rankings at #11, their mettle will be tested right from the get-go.
The two teams near the summit of the rankings are especially lethal. On the one hand, Serbia is expected to field the likes of Bogdan Bogdanovic and Vasilije Micic — and possibly even three-time NBA MVP Nikola Jokic. On the other hand, OKC Thunder center Isaiah Hartenstein has exprssed his desire to once again play for defending FIBA World Cup champion Germany, which could be led by Dennis Schroder and Franz Wagner this summer.
