"Made it" - Isaiah Hartenstein's wife Kourtney Kellar relieved after attending 1st OKC Thunder game

Isaiah Hartenstein has not made his debut for the OKC Thunder since joining them in free agency. Hartenstein's wife Kourtney Kellar attended her first Thunder game on Sunday against the Golden State Warriors.

In a series of Instagram stories, Kellar shared her view from the stands as she watched her husband cheering for his teammates. Hartenstein was in street clothes as he continued recovering from a fracture in his left hand sustained in the preseason.

"Made it to a Thunder game," Kellar wrote.

The OKC Thunder could've done with Isaiah Hartenstein on Sunday after Chet Holmgren suffered a hip injury in the second quarter. The Thunder had to play small ball against the Golden State Warriors and lost.

They were down big in the third quarter before a fourth-quarter rally in the final period fell short in the 127-116 defeat.

Isaiah Hartenstein moved from New York to Oklahoma City with his wife

Isaiah Hartenstein seemingly found a home with the New York Knicks after moving around the NBA to start his career. Hartenstein had stints with the Houston Rockets, Denver Nuggets, Cleveland Cavaliers and LA Clippers before joining the Knicks in the 2022 free agency.

After two solid seasons in New York, Hartenstein entered free agency and was one of the most sought-after big men. The Knicks were not willing to pay him a lot of money, so the OKC Thunder swooped in to sign him to a three-year, $87 million contract.

Hartenstein moved to Oklahoma City with his wife Kourtney Kellar, who gave birth to their first son earlier this year.

How did Isaiah Hartenstein meet his wife?

Kourtney Kellar was born and raised in Dallas, Texas, and attended Henderson State University in Arkansas. Kellar turned to modelling to help finance her college education and graduated in 2014. She won Miss Texas International in 2017, according to People Magazine.

Kellar also worked as a ring girl during Canelo Alvarez's fight against Gennady Golovkin a year later. But how did Kellar meet his future husband and NBA player Isaiah Hartenstein?

In an interview with the New York Post in 2022, Kellar revealed that Hartenstein slid into her Instagram DMs three years earlier. She was taken aback by the big man's comments.

"My Instagram is pretty sexy, so I get a lot of comments about my body, which is nice," Kellar said. "But he came in and messaged me something like, 'You have the most beautiful smile,' and sent me his favorite photo of me from my feed. I was wearing a turtleneck in that picture. It was really sweet of him."
