Over the past month, Malik Beasley has gotten romantically involved with Instagram model Natalia Garibotto. As the postseason is just getting underway, the girlfriend of the veteran guard took the time to react to the latest world news.
Following a months-long battle with respiratory illness, Pope Francis died Monday morning at the age of 88. This ends a 12-year run for him as the face of the Catholic Church, first taking the position in March of 2013.
Pope Francis was caught up in a situation in 2020 after his activity on Instagram was called into question. It came out that he, or someone using his account, was liking the photos of models on the social media platform. Among the people whose pictures he liked was Malik Beasley's girlfriend.

Malik Beasley's girlfriend was one of many to react to the news of Pope Francis' death. She put a collage on her Instagram story of the Pope alongside the picture he liked over five years ago.
"REST IN PARADISE MY FRIEND," Garibotto wrote.
Beasley and Garibotto getting together is still in its early stages, as the Detroit Pistons sharpshooter isn't far removed from his marriage. Back in 2020, he tied the knot with Montana Yao. However, the two have had their ups and downs over the past five years.
Just prior to their five-year anniversary, Yao and Beasley began the process of splitting up. She reportedly filed for legal separation, while he sought out a divorce. As to why the couple has decided to split for good, "irreconcilable differences" was the primary factor in reports.
Shortly after seeking out legal action to confirm their split, Beasley was spotted with Garibotto following a Pistons' matchup with the Miami Heat in March. The two have since put out multiple posts of each other on social media, confirming that they are together now.
Garibotto has built up a massive fanbase on Instagram, as she currently sits with over three million followers on the platform.
