Malik Beasley's wife Montana Yao has made quite a portfolio for herself, especially in the fashion industry. The Miss Malibu Teen USA 2016 also has a strong social media presence and she used it to promote her mother Gina Yao's brand page.
The wife of the Detroit Pistons player reposted a post from her mother's brand page "JaggerEdge" on her Instagram story. However, it was the long caption on the post that stood out. While Yao was trying to promote her mother's brand, she also accused China of 'ripping' her mom's business idea.
In the caption, Yao hailed her mother's strength and her knack for effective business ideas. She also added that it was her mother who was the first creator of "the studded iPhone covers." However, according to Yao, China stole her mother's idea:
"She created the first ever studded iPhone covers back when the first iPhone came out but China ripped her off too fast and she lost a lot of business on an idea SHE created from scratch out of her own brain!"
The wife of the NBA star has 127K followers on her social media. Yao mostly posts pictures of herself in workout gear as well as with her children and the Beasley.
Malik Beasley and Montana Yao have a son named Makai Joseph Beasley who was born in 2019 and a daughter, Mia Love Beasley, who was born in 2022.

However, the couple have overcome the biggest hurdles. The social media celebrity recently received a big gift from her husband.
Yao posted a picture of her new wedding ring on her social media. Posting the picture of her wedding ring with a big rectangular diamond head, Yao captioned the post:
"Ohhh and btw look who got an upgrade."

Malik Beasley and Montana Yao got married in 2020. However, the same year Beasley made headlines for his romantic relationship with Scottie Pippen's ex-wife Larsa Pippen.
Just a few months later, Yao filed for divorce from the NBA player. In 2021, it was reported by the US Magazine that Beasley had questioned the paternity of his first-born Makai. However, after almost two years of estranged marriage, Beasley and Yao got back together.
