"Man stop playing with me": LeBron James is merciless towards Cowboys while playing against them on Madden 24
LeBron James has been an avid American football fan and he has been taking some time off playing Madden 24 prior to the opening of the new NBA season. In his most recent Instagram post, he is shown playing as the San Francisco 49ers while taking on the Dallas Cowboys.
"Man stop playing with me," said James showing the score on his Madden 24 matchup showing the 49ers lead a whopping 52-0 over the Dallas Cowboys.
After Week 7, the San Francisco 49ers have a 5-2 record in the NFL standings after losing to the Minnesota Vikings on Monday night football with the final score settling at 22-17. They are tied for second in the NFC along with the Detroit Lions and just below the current leaders, the Philadelphia Eagles.
Meanwhile, the Dallas Cowboys have played six games and won four of them. They are now placed 6th in the NFC after a tight win over the Los Angeles Chargers, 20-17, on Week 6.
LeBron James could have made the Dallas Cowboys' roster
With the way LeBron James is built, he can be a great all-around football player in another multiverse. But with him settling to play basketball, he always wondered how his life would be if he tried American Football instead.
In a report in Sports Illustrated, James was rumored to have been offered a Dallas Cowboys contract in 2011, when the NBA was on lockout. However, that didn't happen and the four-time NBA champion says that he could have made the team if the lockout continued.
“I would have made the team,” James said to the The Athletic. “I would have tried out, but I would have made the team. ... I just know what I’m capable of doing on the football field. Especially at that age. One thing about it, I don’t mind working for something, so if I would have had to try out for the Cowboys or the Seahawks, or if I’d have stayed home and went back home to Cleveland, I’d have tried (out), but I would have made the team," James said.
The Los Angeles Lakers will be opening their 2023-24 season on the road against the defending champion Denver Nuggets this coming Tuesday, October 24, at the Ball Arena in a 2023 NBA Western Conference Finals rematch. Their first home game takes place on Thursday, October 26, as they host Kevin Durant and the newly retooled Phoenix Suns.
