Mark Cuban drops 4-word reaction to Joe Biden dropping out of the Presidential Race
NBA owner Mark Cuban reacted to United States President and Democratic candidate Joe Biden officially dropping out of the presidential race, ending his re-election bid. Biden endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris to be his successor as the Democratic candidate.
Cuban dropped a four-word reaction to the news on X.
"Father time is undefeated," Cuban wrote on X.
Cuban has been a supporter of Biden's for some time and has been very publically against Republican candidate and former President Donald Trump.
"I don't want a snake oil salesperson as president. I'm voting for Biden-Harris over Trump all day every day," Mark Cuban stated in an interview.
Given his disproval of Trump, Cuban is likely to stick by Kamala Harris as she is backed by President Biden and much of the Democratic party.
Mark Cuban since selling his majority stake of the Dallas Mavericks
On Jan. 4, 2000, Mark Cuban officially bought the Dallas Mavericks, helping turn them into a premier team in the Western Conference and a consistent winner and playoff contender. Cuban purchased the majority stake in the team for $285 million.
In late 2023, Cuban sold his majority stake in the team, about 73 percent, to the Adelson and Dumont families for $3.5 billion, but his support of his beloved Mavericks hasn't wavered.
Despite selling the majority stake in the team, Cuban still owns roughly 27 percent of the Mavericks and remains a member of the front office. Cuban also retained his position to oversee all basketball operations, despite not being the team's president of operations.
Cuban can also still be seen at any Mavericks home game, supporting his squad.
After selling the team, Cuban supported Mavericks employees, giving out bonuses that added up to roughly $35 million.
Mark Cuban is also still very much around the team in a day-to-day setting, from practices, to pregame situations, to being in the locker room before the game or after the game.
