"Mark’s insulting conservative women!" - Donald Trump supporters slam Mavericks co-owner Mark Cuban over controversial remark about ex-president

Dallas Mavericks minority owner Mark Cuban, who has been hard at work campaigning for Democratic candidate Kamala Harris in the US election, has been on the receiving end of criticism this week. During an appearance on The View on Thursday, Cuban made comments that landed him in the metaphorical crosshairs of Donald Trump supporters.

While speaking with the panel of hosts that included Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, Sara Haines, Alyssa Farah Griffin and Ana Navarro, Cuban took aim at Trump. He said that the former US President is never seen with strong intelligent women because he sees them as threats.

As an example of this, Cuban pointed to another Republican, Nikki Haley, as an example of someone who Trump isn't seen with often because she isn't afraid to call him out.

"Donald Trump, you never see him around strong, intelligent women, ever. Its just that simple. They're intimidating to him. He doesn't like to be challenged by them.
"And, you know, Nikki Haley will call him on his nonsense with reproductive rights and how he sees and treats and talks about women. I mean, he just can't have her around. It wouldn't work."

Trump's supporters were quick to heap criticism on the Mavericks' minority owner.

"Now Mark’s insulting conservative women! They never learn, they just constantly double down!" - One suggested.
"That’s so demeaning" - Another added.
"Oh please. @TulsiGabbard would like a word. I hate to tell you but, insulting women is not the way to get them to vote for your side." - One wrote.

But that wasn't all:

"Can I just say Mark Cuban knows nothing about intelligent women, looks who he is choosing to vote for our President of America?" - One wrote.
"Mark Cuban is a misogynist." - Another added.
"How many foreign languages does Cuban speak? I’d take @MELANIATRUMP over Cuban in a one-in-one debate any day." - One wrote.

Mark Cuban says Donald Trump's policies would impact sports fans thanks to tariffs

With the US election just days away, Mark Cuban notably said that if Donald Trump is elected and implements a 60% tariff, then sports fans may be the ones who suffer.

Cuban has been campaigning for Trump's opponent, Kamala Harris, and even appeared as a guest speaker at one of her rallies leading up to the election. At the same time, he's also been critical of Trump on social media on more than one occasion.

During his aforementioned appearance on The View, he spoke about how the tariffs Trump wants to impose will impact sports fans:

"People don't realize that most of the presents—the sporting goods, equipment, books, dresses, shoes, and knickknacks—are made in China and imported. Donald Trump says he wants to add a 60% tariff to all those items. So now, all of a sudden, those prices go up.
"You're having a conversation with your spouse, saying, 'Okay, where do we cut back?' Because all those toys and presents we wanted to buy for the kids are now more expensive. Donald Trump is a Grinch trying to steal your Christmas."

With the US election rapidly approaching, this likely isn't the last we've heard from Mark Cuban regarding Trump.
