Matas Buzelis stats tonight: How did Bulls rookie fare against Nets? (Dec. 2)
Matas Buzelis and the Chicago Bulls took on the Brooklyn Nets on Monday night. The Bulls entered the matchup on a two-game losing streak, hoping to snap their drought by beating the Nets. In their last outing, Buzelis only played five minutes, scoring two points and two rebounds.

The Chicago Bulls hosted the Brooklyn Nets on Monday. Josh Giddey's triple-double performance played a pivotal role in the Bulls' triumph.
Giddey, despite struggling from the three-point line, put up a superb performance. He added 20 points, 13 rebounds and 11 assists to help his team come up with the victory. Assisting him on offense were Nikola Vucevic and rookie Matas Buzelis.
Vucevic also had a solid performance, putting up a double-double outing. He had 21 points and 10 rebounds. As for Buzelis, he came up with 20 points, five rebounds and two blocks. Two other Bulls players were in double figures, Zach LaVine (18 points) and Ayo Dosunmu (16 points).
Looking at the Brooklyn Nets squad, Dennis Schroder was their player of the game. He also had a double-double outing with 16 points and 10 assists. However, his team's lack of initiative on offense is what resulted in the Nets' defeat.
None of the Brooklyn players managed to score 20 points, which was one of the major reasons why they struggled to keep up with the Bulls throughout the second half.
