Tyler Herro led Miami with 25 points, six rebounds and nine assists. He shot 7-for-18 (2-for-6 from the 3-point line). Bam Adebayo had 21 points, five rebounds and six assists on 9-for-15 shooting, including 2-for-3 on 3-pointers. Kyle Anderson scored 19 points on 7-for-11 shooting off the bench.
Pelle Larsson finished with 16 points, four rebounds and four assists, while Davion Mitchell had 13 points and seven assists off the bench. Alec Burks and Haywood Highsmith added 10 points apiece.
Jaylen Brown led Boston with 24 points, nine rebounds and four assists. He shot 10-for-20, including 2-for-6 from the 3-point line. Jayson Tatum had 16 points and seven assists on 4-for-17 shooting. Derrick White finished with 16 points, six assists and four rebounds (5-for-11 shooting).
Luke Kornet added 14 points and six rebounds on 7-for-9 shooting, while Payton Pritchard contributed 10 points (4-for-9 shooting) off the bench.
Miami improved to 35-41, extending its winning streak to six games. They hold the No. 9 spot in the Eastern Conference. The Heat have a one-game lead over the 10th-seeded Chicago Bulls (34-42) and are one and a half games behind the No. 7 Atlanta Hawks (36-39), who are just percentage points behind the Orlando Magic (37-40).
Boston's nine-game winning run was halted. With six games remaining, they (56-20) have already secured at least a top-two finish in the East. The Celtics are five games behind first-placed Cleveland Cavaliers (61-15), which won against the third-seeded New York Knicks (48-28) on Wednesday.
