Michael Jordan celebrates 5-year anniversary with Cincoro Tequila founders, son Marcus Jordan chimes in
Michael Jordan has partnered with his favorite tequila brand, Cincoro, for five years. Their partnership has grown over time, and the drink's founders recently celebrated with the Chicago Bulls legend, posting a picture of the six-time champion to Instagram on Wednesday.
The son of the basketball icon, Marcus, commented on the Instagram post. Jordan is one of the brand's co-founders, along with four other NBA owners: Wes Edens, Jeannie Buss, Wyc Grousbeck and Emilia Fazzalari.
Marcus even celebrated with the founders on Instagram by leaving an emoji comment.
The brand formed in 2016 and launched in 2019. According to tastersclub.com, the team tested over 1,000 tequilas to find the perfect blend consumers would enjoy.
The taste of their tequila became the standard for the company, and they've won multiple awards because of it. The brand will continue to dominate the domestic market before it expands overseas.
