When Michael Jordan was rejected by Madonna after reportedly telling her he ‘could satisfy her better’ than Scottie Pippen
Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen were huge competitors on and off the basketball court. While the two won six championships for the Chicago Bulls, they once found themselves in a love triangle.
The fact that the woman was famous in her own right makes this story much more intriguing. At the time, Madonna was one of the biggest singers and was entangled in a love triangle with two of the NBA's best players.
Despite the fact that Michael Jordan was the face of the NBA, it did not matter to Madonna. She chose Pippen instead. Some reports mentioned that Madonna picked up the Hall of Fame forward in a limo every time he was playing in LA.
At one point, Michael Jordan was so envious of Pippen that he tried to take Madonna for himself, he told her he could please her better, but she assured him that wouldn't happen.
"Bach claimed that Jordan was jealous that Pippen was attracting more interest from girls than him and even told Madonna that he could satisfy her more than Pippen."
"However, Madonna allegedly turned down his offer, stressing that there is "no chance" Jordan can please her more than Pippen."
Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen aren't the only Chicago Bulls stars to be smitten by Madonna
Before the 1995 season, Chicago brought in Dennis Rodman to help fortify the roster. Along with his hard-nosed tenacity on defense, he also brought a lot of personality.
With his outgoing personality, Dennis Rodman found himself making friends outside of basketball, one of them being Madonna. The two dated for a brief period, and Rodman even claimed that the famous singer offered him 20 million dollars to have a baby with her.
"[Madonna] said if I got her pregnant she'd pay me 20 million dollars," claimed Rodman back in 2019.
"That's if the baby was born. I was holding the dice in Vegas and she was in New York. She called so I said: 'Hold the dice.'
When it comes to basketball, Michael Jordan is by far the best player in the Chicago Bulls' trio. However, his running mates have him beat in this case, MJ being the only one of the three who did not end up with Madonna at some point.
Following his failed attempt with Madonna, Jordan went on to marry his first wife, Juanita Vanoy, in 1989. The two would stay together for 17 years before splitting up in 2006.
