Michael Jordan’s daughter Jasmine Jordan doubles down on endorsing Kamala Harris for president
Michael Jordan's daughter Jasmine Jordan has been very vocal about her support for Democratic Party's Presidential nominee Kamala Harris. As soon as the current US Vice President replaced Joe Biden in the race against Donald Trump, plenty of NBA-related figures have voiced their support for her.
Jasmine was one of them and let that be known during the first presidential debate involving VP Harris. As the days go by and the election gets closer, she keeps sharing her support for Harris on social media.
On Thursday, she shared a post on her story, reminding people that there are still 47 days to go before the election occurs.
This comes after Jordan hyped up Harris during a presidential debate last week, sharing her impressions on the Vice President's performance.
"We love to see it," Jordan captioned the post.
The 31-year-old, a sports management grad out of Syracuse, first worked for the Charlotte Hornets alongside his father. Once her time was up with the NBA franchise, she joined the Jordan brand as a field representative while bringing several WNBA players to join the brand in recent seasons.
Jasmine Jordan joined a list of high-profile names who support Harris in this race, which includes somebody who knows her father very well.
Michael Jordan's former teammate joins Jasmine Jordan to endorse Kamala Harris for 2024 Presidential election
Coming off his participation in the 2024 Paris Olympics, Steve Kerr stopped by the Democratic National Convention held at United Center. At this venue, he won three titles with the Bulls, but this time, he was there to share his support for Harris.
"It is so fun to be back here in the United Center, and as you guys know a lot of good stuff has happened in this building, especially in the 90s," Kerr said.
"You young people google Michael Jordan and you can read all about it. ... And hopefully, if she's on the ticket, winning the election. ... She's been a big supporter of us and so I want to give that energy right back to her."
Steve Kerr has always been open about his political views, being a strong advocate for gun control and one of Donald Trump's most famous critics when the latter was in office.
Just like Jasmine Jordan, Kerr has shown his excitement for Kamala Harris' candidature. The VP even visited Team USA during their Las Vegas camp ahead of the Olympics. Stephen Curry is another NBA person who has endorsed Harris ahead of the 2024 elections.
