Michael Jordan’s ex teammate Ron Harper continues to mock LeBron James’ Lakers in latest tweets

Former Chicago Bulls player Ron Harper took to social media on Wednesday to criticize LA Lakers forward LeBron James. In a series of tweets, Harper made comments that appeared to mock the four-time NBA champion.

The latest one was in response to a fan who commented on a magazine cover with Lakers owner Jeanie Buss on it.

“They like the play in games….” Harper tweeted.

Harper didn’t stop there. He went on to mock James when a fan praised his performance against the Washington Wizards and compared him with Bulls legend Michael Jordan.

“Just wait for the play in games!!!!!” Harper wrote.

This is not the first time Harper has thrown shade at James. On Jan. 4, he responded to a fan comment when James eclipsed Jordan for most 30-point games in NBA history.

“Who really cares?,” Harper tweeted.

Harper has also shared his opinion on James about comparisons to Jordan. The five-time NBA champion claimed that comparing James to Jordan is unfair and that the Lakers star should be compared to Oscar Robertson or Magic Johnson instead.

Ron Harper calls out soccer superstar for award ceremony absence

LeBron James wasn't the only one Ron Harper threw shade at as he also called out Inter Miami star Lionel Messi for skipping the White House ceremony to receive the Presidential Medal of Freedom. Messi, an eight-time Ballon d'Or winner and one-time World Cup champion, was among 18 recipients of the honor, including LA Lakers and NBA legend Magic Johnson.

"Punk," Harper tweeted.

Messi's absence from the ceremony raised eyebrows, as Fox News journalist Nick Sortor claimed on social media that Messi didn't send a representative to accept the award on his behalf. Harper responded to Sortor's post with a one-word comment.

However, Messi's team later released a statement citing scheduling conflicts and prior commitments as the reason for his absence. Despite the explanation, Messi has faced backlash from fans for missing the highest award given to a civilian by the U.S. President.
