Michael Jordan's ex-wife Juanita Vanoy amplifies WNBA's message urging fans to vote in US elections
Michael Jordan's former wife, Juanita Vanoy, is a big fan of the WNBA. As a Chicago native, she often gives a shout-out to the Chicago Sky on Instagram. On Tuesday, she again supported the league by re-sharing a message.
The “Juanita World” founder reminded US citizens about the importance of the nationwide event on the said day:
“Today is Election Day
“November 5th
“Be Heard
“VOTE”
The US presidential election pits Republican candidate, former president Donald Trump, and Democrat standard-bearer, Kamala Harris, the current vice president.
Over the past few months, both camps have been throwing accusations at each other. While some have announced their choices, many are content to remind people to vote. Vanoy has joined those who want the people’s voice to be heard.
Tuesday wasn’t the first time Michael Jordan’s former wife has urged people to participate in the election. Three months ago, she went on Instagram to write:
“Get registered…Go Vote…No excuses…
“Are you voting in November?”
A week ago, she was back at it again with another IG post:
“Are you voting early?”
The WNBA’s reminder fits with what Vanoy has been calling people to do for months.
Juanita Vanoy has not announced her choice for US president
Juanita Vanoy has reacted to some debates on social media about the two presidential candidates. She wrote “ha ha” to an exchange featuring Kamala Harris and Donald Trump’s wife, Melania Trump.
One week before the election, she shared a photo of Bob James during a Democrat rally and captioned it:
“Lots going on last night. Saw Bob James, Jazz Legend, doing his thing at the jazz club last night and down the street, former President Obama was at the convention center campaigning for V.P. Harris…”
Michael Jordan's former wife urges everyone to vote while keeping her choice of US president to herself.
