Jasmine, married to former NBA player Rakeem Christmas, posted a few close-up snaps of her son donning an adorable blue cap and graduation gown as she gushed over new beginnings.

In her heartfelt caption, she began with, "This Guy Right Here🥹," and continued, "We say goodbye to the summer and goodbye to pre-school. Kindergarten🍎📚… we’re here!! I’m so proud of you, my son. You amaze me every single day and there isn’t a single thing you can’t do."

Holding his preschool certificate, the five-year-old is ready for kindergarten — much to her mom’s delight

"I love you with all of me 🤟🏾. Aim high my baby," she added.

In one of the photos, a handwritten note can be seen in which Rakeem shared his favorite things on his first day of kindergarten. He mentioned that he's 46 inches tall and wants to be a musician, unlike his grandfather.

He also expressed his love for his mom and Jesus and revealed that his favorite color is red, which Jasmine later clarified in the caption that it's actually blue and green.

Her delighted mom, Juanita Vanoy, and her brother, Jeffrey Jordan, took to the Instagram comments section to congratulate the Jordan family’s first grandchild on graduating.

“Time is flying by for your Glamma, Keemie! I’m so proud of you… I can’t believe you’re starting kindergarten… my little Gbaby,” Vanoy wrote.
Meanwhile, Jeffrey kept it short and sweet, with “Congrats, ‘phew!!!! 🎉🎉🎉💪🏾💪🏾” to celebrate the milestone.

Jasmine Jordan once playfully said, “Grandpa Michael Jordan is soft”

In 2022, Michael Jordan’s daughter Jasmine Jordan opened up about how becoming a grandfather has altered the six-time NBA champion's outlook on life.

In an interview with TOGETHXR, she explained how her son, Rakeem, has brought out a gentler side of the Chicago Bulls legend.

"Michael Jordan, the grandpa, is soft," Jasmine said at 3:15th mark "I mean my son definitely has my dad wrapped around his finger. He loves being a grandfather and my son is his first grandchild. That competition and that drive is really going to be in my son’s corner. He’s going to be able to experience that from a grandfather’s lens."

While Rakeem's too young to follow in his granddad's footsteps on the court, as his interest seemingly lies in becoming a musician, you never know what the future holds.
