Moore had a seven-year-long career in the WNBA, where she played for the Minnesota Lynx. During this time, she cemented herself as one of the greatest players in the game.

After witnessing the emotional ceremony, the biggest name in the NBA gave Moore her flowers. LeBron James made a post on X, formerly Twitter, showing his respect for the former WNBA player.

Maya Moore's contribution to women's basketball in the United States of America goes beyond her career in the WNBA. She has brought multiple honors to her nation on the biggest international stages as well. Moore was part of the 2012 and 2016 Olympics, where she led the USA Women's National Basketball team to gold medals both times.
In addition to that, she also led her nation to two FIBA World Championships in her career, winning gold medals in 2010 and 2014.
