Mike Miz hilariously claims Bronny James' role in LeBron James' 5th title on Lakers

WWE Superstar Michael Mizanin, also known as 'The Miz', shared his interesting take on Bronny James' role in helping his father win his fifth title with the LA Lakers.

The Miz is a big fan of basketball and roots for the Cleveland Cavaliers as he's an Ohio native. However, even though James left the Cavs years ago, he still roots for the star forward.

It's known to everyone that the Lakers' title hopes are still alive. Despite not making significant moves to help the roster, many hope that the team will still be a top unit in the Western Conference. Additionally, there are questions about what Bronny's role will look like with the team.

The former WWE champion was asked on ESPN's NBA Today, on Tuesday, about what the younger James' role would be like. Surprisingly, he was invested in what the former USC guard could do on the court and believes Bronny could help lead the team to a championship.

"Are you kidding me?" The Miz said. "Bronny James is in Los Angeles. Bronny James is taking the Lakers to the promised land!"

The Miz even shared how he wished his hometown team drafted the young point guard.

"I actually wish that the Cavaliers drafted Bronny so then they can get LeBron and then it would be, Spida, LeBron, Bronny, Garland and Mobley. It'd be amazing. And we'd go all the way to the NBA Finals."

There are plenty of people who are looking forward to what Bronny can do on the floor and The Miz is one of them. But given how he performed in the Summer League, he might not be the finished article the WWE star is raving about.

The Miz had shared before how the Cavs don't need LeBron James or Bronny to win the title

Back in October 2022, TMZ Sports got a chance to interview The Miz in public. He was asked about the state of the Cavs and he shared his confidence in the team.

The WWE superstar believed that Cleveland could return to the NBA Finals with the group they had at that time, which was Donovan Mitchell's first season.

Back then, he shared how he earlier thought the Cavs would need the father-and-son duo of LeBron and Bronny James, but changed his opinion.

"I was like, 'Oh we need Bronny to come in to Cleveland so LeBron will come back, win us a championship'," he said. "Now, I’m looking at it going, 'Wow, maybe we don’t need LeBron to win a championship. … Oh man, we have the team that could actually do this.' It’s crazy!"

The Cavs have not won a title since then. However, many hope that the team will bring home another title with the young group of stars they have.
