Miles Bridges aggressively fires back at Draymond Green for belittling Charlotte Hornets' NBA potential

Four-time NBA champion Draymond Green took a shot at the Charlotte Hornets, and forward Miles Bridges didn't appreciate it. Clutch Points posted a video of Green on X, formerly known as Twitter, where Green was talking to Jeff Teague on his "Club 520" podcast. In the clip, the Golden State Warriors star said:

"I pray to God if [the Warriors] ever feel the need to get rid of me. … If they [are] going to send me to any non-winning organization, then send me to Detroit...than Charlotte [Hornets].”

Miles Bridges fired back at the four-time NBA champion in the form of crude emojis. Check out his reply in the post below:

Bridges entered the free agency after the conclusion of the 2023-24 season and was expected to sign with a different team. However, he signed a three-year, $75 million contract with the Hornets earlier in July.

Bridges missed all of the 2022-23 season due to allegations of domestic violence and also failed to take part in the first 10 games of the 2023-24 season. For the latter part, he averaged 21.0 points, 7.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists.

Draymond Green talks potential Warriors trade

The Golden State Warriors have failed to replicate their success since winning the title in 2022. After struggling for the last two years, the Warriors took a new approach by not re-signing their champion 3-point shooter, Klay Thompson.

In an appearance on Jeff Teague’s "Club 520" podcast episode released on July 26, Draymond Green mentioned that the Dubs are trying to pull a trade to stay competitive next season:

"We was just about to make some trades last week. And I told them straight up, 'That trade will help me.' It'll help me in my career these last couple of years with [Stephen Curry]. But I've always spoken from a place of, 'What's best for this organization?' I won't stop now." (Time stamp: 33:55)

Although Draymond Green didn’t name the player, Lauri Markkanen has been constantly related to the Warriors, so there is a chance that Green was talking about the Jazz player.

The Utah Jazz star has been linked to teams like the LA Lakers, Miami Heat, San Antonio Spurs and Golden State Warriors. However, the trade talk has been at a standstill because of the Jazz’s reluctance to move their star player.
