"Most useless post of all time"- NBA fans troll Patrick Beverley who tries to score on LeBron James and instead ends up getting shutdown

Patrick Beverley hit LeBron James with the “too small” celebration when they met for the first time since the point guard was traded. Beverley, who’s now playing for the Chicago Bulls, trolled James in the fourth quarter of the game.

Early in tonight’s rematch between the Bulls and the LA Lakers, Beverley had a chance to score in the paint against his former teammate. James was all over him, raring to swat his shot away. The 6’3 Beverley wisely passed the ball back out to Nikola Vucevic

The joke was on Patrick Beverley this time as fans poured in their hilarious reactions:

“Most useless post of all time”

Patrick Beverley was a fan favorite during his brief stint with the LA Lakers. It seems like he's become one of their favorite villains, particularly with his latest comments about his former team.

His trolling of LeBron James in their first meeting has been the highlight so far:

Beverley played 15 minutes in the first half of this game and attempted two three-point shots, both of which he missed. He hasn't scored yet but has one rebound, one assist and one steal heading into the halftime break.

The fiesty point guard had a game-worst -24 rating in tonight's game. Chicago, however, made the game more interesting after the Lakers took an 11-point first-quarter lead.

LeBron James, on the other hand, has already had a productive night for the visiting Lakers. He played 16 minutes and had 13 points, five rebounds, three assists and one steal. James helped carry the Lakers to a 59-51 lead after the game's first 24 minutes.

Patrick Beverley has been taking shots at LeBron James and the LA Lakers

Besides trolling LeBron James with the "too small" gesture, Patrick Beverley has been taking shots at the LA Lakers.

A few days after signing with the Chicago Bulls via the buyout route, Beverley vowed to eliminate the LA Lakers. Anthony Davis nonchalantly responded with "he can come try" comment to Beverley's bold declaration.

Heading into Sunday's game at Crypto.com Arena, "Pat Bev" took another dig at his former team with this post:

The words "Ultra Soft" on the Charmin tissue paper pack couldn't have been a coincidence. Patrick Beverley wanted to prove a point and he did it in LeBron James' first game back from a long layoff due to injury.

Beverley played fairly well, finishing with 10 points, four rebounds, five assists and one steal in 23 minutes. As the Bulls walked off the court bringing a 118-108 victory to Chicago, the point guard sent a message to avid Laker fan Shannon Sharpe:

Patrick Beverley, on NBC Sports Chicago, had another not-so-subtle dig at the LA Lakers. This time, his words were directed at Darvin Ham:

"If I'm a spoon, (coach) Billy (Donovan) is using me as a spoon. With the Lakers, I was a spoon and they were using me as a fork. It's just different."

Patrick Beverley didn't hold back in calling out Darvin Ham and the Lakers 👀

Beverley may not be done throwing volleys at LeBron James and the LA Lakers if the Bulls win again. He could also get closer to his goal of eliminating his former teammates for the playoff race.
