Derrick Rose's ex Mieka Reese shares update on son PJ's health as she preps dinner

Derrick Rose’s ex Mieka Reese has been dedicating her time raising her son PJ Rose and taking care of her own career. While PJ is being raised by both D Rose and his former girlfriend Reese, their son stays with his mother.

Earlier today on Saturday, Feb. 1, Reese posted a video of her cooking for her son on her social media. The video on her Instagram story showed Reese ready to cook dinner for PJ. Rose’s ex also revealed that their son has had a fever for the last two days and still went to practice.

“I am gonna cook some dinner for PJ,” she said. “My baby, he has had a fever the last two days. Still went to skirmish, still went to practice. So Imma make him dinner.”

The news of PJ falling sick comes just a few days after Mieka Reese had made a big announcement on her social media on January 29. Reese had made a post on her IG story that her son’s team Lausanne Collegiate School in Memphis had gone unbeaten in the regular season. She also updated that her son had made five of seven shots from the 3-point line.

Earlier this month, he suited up alongside his dad when the Bulls legend returned to his alma mater, Simeon High School, for a special event after his jersey retirement. His basketball footsteps could mark the start of something beautiful that the NBA world should keep an eye on.

Derrick Rose has been with his wife Alaina Anderson since she was 21 years old. They began dating in 2016 and got married seven years later. They have two children together.

Anderson recently turned 30 and Rose made a heartfelt post on Instagram. He posted a picture with Anderson and addressed her as "Mrs. PutThats**ton."

"Damn you 30!!!" Rose wrote. "I know you reflecting on your life right now I know it felt quick but remember s**t move fast when u having a blast. I’m blessed to experience these 9 yrs with you.
