NBA All-Star style watch 2023: A recap of the best outfits and drips from Day 1 of the weekend
NBA stars and celebrities showed out for Day 1 of this year’s NBA All-Star Weekend in Salt Lake City, Utah. Between the Ruffles NBA All-Star Celebrity Game and the Jordan Rising Stars tournament, there were plenty of outfits that stood out. This includes those who participated in the events as well as those who watched from the sidelines.
So on that note, here are a few of the best outfits from Friday’s action.
Best NBA player and celebrity outfits from Friday night
Two of the biggest standout fits of the night came from OKC Thunder players. Thunder All-Star guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander showed up courtside in an all-black leather fit.
Meanwhile, SGA's teammate and rising star Josh Giddey drew some pregame attention for his blue fur coat look.
Another rising star, Indiana Pacers rookie Bennedict Mathurin also turned heads with his sharp yellow jacket and handbag.
Milwaukee Bucks superstar forward Giannis Antetokounmpo, who was a celebrity game coach, showed up wearing an elegant long white jacket.
In another all-leather courtside look, New Orleans Pelicans All-Star forward Zion Williamson wore a black and brown leather fit.
Toronto Raptors All-Star forward Pascal Siakam even showed up courtside with a video camera to go along with his grey suit jacket and white hoodie look.
As for some celebrities, Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh showed up in a white fur coat, white shades, a white hat and a chain.
Meanwhile, comedian Guillermo Rodriguez arrived at the game wearing a suit jacket with matching shorts, AKA a “short suit.” Rodriguez was of course mimicking LA Lakers star forward LeBron James’ iconic outfit from Game 1 of the 2018 NBA Finals.
Considering this was only Day 1 of All-Star Weekend, it looks like fans can expect some big-time outfits over the next couple of days.
