Which teams are interested in trading for Kyrie Irving?
Despite having a reputation for being a problem with the media, there are still some teams interested in Kyrie Irving. Following his trade request, there have been reports of teams interested in trading for the Nets star. These teams are trying to contend and would likely give up a lot to land Uncle Drew.
Based on reports, there are four teams with massive interest in acquiring the disgruntled star.
LA Lakers
The LA Lakers are always present in trade rumors that have something to do with the big star. This time, they could get their hands on Irving. Los Angeles has been trying to get rid of Russell Westbrook, anyway. With this announcement, it could improve their acquisition of the star.
Miami Heat
Irving is still one of the top guards in the league, which is why the Miami Heat are reported to be one team that could trade for him. They've had some problems with their starting point guard, Kyle Lowry, this season. Plus, Jimmy Butler and Irving are good friends, which could be an advantage.
Dallas Mavericks
Coach Jason Kidd seems to have a close relationship with Irving. This could play out well in bringing him to the Dallas Mavericks as the team is looking for a star to pair with Luka Doncic.
