NBA fans roast Lamar Odom for ex-Lakers' peculiar grooming choice
Former LA Lakers star Lamar Odom grabbed attention with his unique skincare routine. Now that he spends most of the time away from the league, Odom decided to treat himself with something special. However, fans found it weird that the two-time NBA champion underwent a salmon sperm treatment for his face.
According to TMZ Sports, the retired basketball star went to Dr. Robert Dorfman's office on Monday to undergo the procedure. In an article by Variety last September, Dr. Gabriel Chiu shared the method's benefits.
Dr. Chiu said that an injection of Rejuran in microdroplets is done under the skin of the face and neck. Variety shared that the routine is the newest Hollywood trend.
The treatment is quite pricey at $3,200. TMZ Sports shared that Odom wanted a more youthful face and skin, so he joined the trend. But fans found that weird and trolled him on X (formerly Twitter).
"I know he was at Diddy’s parties," one fan tweeted.
"From crack to sperm, idk what’s worse," another fan tweeted, taking a shot at Odom's past.
"Bro put fish nut on his head lmfao," a fan tweeted.
Other fans were upset about Odom's attempt at joining the latest trend.
"Could’ve gone my whole life without knowing this, " one fan tweeted.
"Not even Batman would get this information outta me," another fan tweeted.
"Didn’t need to share his business like this," a fan tweeted.
Odom's former sister-in-law, Kim Kardashian, shared that she underwent the same procedure during an episode of their reality TV show, "The Kardashians."

Lamar Odom revealed doing a strange pre-game ritual
Stars in the league have pregame rituals that help them focus before the game. Lamar Odom had the same process when he was still an active player in the league. However, his routine wasn't typical.
Odom shared with current Lakers guard Max Christie that he used to pleasure himself before every game. What he shared wasn't what Christie expected, making him laugh.
"I used to always jerk off," Lamar Odom said. "But I think about it cause that it probably took some of my energy. I was at home at the crib-- have a hotel room I bust it down. That is why sometimes I would rather play on the road."
His pregame ritual was odd, but it helped him perform well during games.
