The LA Lakers had their biggest win of the season so far against the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday night at Crypto.com Arena. With the Grizzlies up by a point, Dennis Schroder stole the ball from Desmond Bane with around 10 seconds left in the game.

Schroder was fouled on the break but still made the layup to give the Lakers a one-point lead with 7.6 seconds remaining on the clock. He made the bonus free throw to increase their lead to two. Ja Morant missed a game-tying floater, but Wenyen Gabriel fouled Brandon Clarke on the rebound attempt.

Clarke made the first free throw but missed the second one. Bane stepped out of bounds while trying to recover the rebound to give the Lakers a 122-121 win. Russell Westbrook led the team with 29 points, five rebounds and six assists off the bench.
