NBA fines Steph Curry for throwing mouthpiece into the stands
The league slapped Steph Curry with a $25,000 fine for his actions in the Golden State Warriors' 122-120 win over the Memphis Grizzlies. Curry threw his mouthpiece into the stands with around a minute left in the fourth quarter.
Curry was frustrated with Jordan Poole, who took an ill-advised shot in a very close game. Luckily for the Warriors, Poole hit the game-winning layup after a brilliant inbounds play.

Memphis Grizzlies lose fifth straight game
The Memphis Grizzlies have now lost five straight games ever since their confrontation with Shannon Sharpe last week. The Grizzlies were unable to overcome the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday night at the Target Center.
Memphis were on a 11-game winning streak when the LA Lakers snapped it in an unexpected upset. The Phoenix Suns, Sacramento Kings and Golden State Warriors made it four in a row before the Timberwolves extended their misery.
Nevertheless, the Grizzlies remain in second spot in the Western Conference standings. They are now three games behind the Denver Nuggets, but are three games ahead of the Kings.

LeBron James game-worn jersey from NBA Finals sold for $3.7 million
LeBron James helped the Miami Heat win the 2013 NBA Finals in a thrilling seven-game series against the San Antonio Spurs. James' game-worn jersey from the final game of the series reportedly fetched $3.7 million in auction.
It became the third-most valuable game-worn memorabilia in history. Michael Jordan's jersey from "The Last Dance" season was sold for a whopping $10.1 million last September. Diego Maradona's "Hand of God" shirt came in second, which was bought for $9.3 million last year.

NBA fines Joel Embiid for using D-Generation X taunt
Steph Curry was not the only player recently fined $25,000 by the league. Joel Embiid was hit with the punishment following his obscene celebration against the Brooklyn Nets.
Embiid used the "suck it" crotch chop made popular by the wrestling stable D-Generation X back in the 1990s. The Sixers big man is a huge fan of WWE, with Triple H hyping up the crowd during the 2021 Eastern Conference semifinals.
