Neiman Marcus offering fans a two-on-two game against Scottie Pippen, Scotty Pippen Jr. in Christmas catalog: Here are all the details

It seems like NBA legend Scottie Pippen is going to be relevant during the holidays. Neiman Marcus, a retail store known for selling luxury items, is oddly promoting the chance to meet Pippen and his son Scotty Pippen Jr. for a hefty amount.

According to CBS Sports, for the price of $333 thousand, Neiman Marcus is offering an opportunity to play two-on-two games with the father and son duo.

According to the shop's Christmas catalog, buyers will be able to spend the entire day with Scottie Pippen and his son after the game. You'll have a private dinner together, taste some of Scottie's bourbon Digits, and receive an autographed copy of Pippen's book "Unguarded". Basically, the Pippens will become your friends for the day.

As weird as it may seem, Scottie Pippen is doing this collaboration with Neiman Marcus for charity. Pippen will donate $278,000 to the Chi Prep Academy, a nonprofit school that "promotes high standards through academics, entrepreneurship, and athletics."

For $333K you can spend a day with Scottie Pippen

Scotty Pippen Jr. signed a two-way deal with the LA Lakers over the summer. The fact that his son is following in his footsteps must make him really proud.

Pippen even went on the record to say those words himself. He told People Magazine that he's proud of his son and now that he's in the big leagues, it's time for Pippen Jr. to start doing things his way as a basketball player.

"I'm very proud of him," Pippen said. "As a father, I can't continue to lead or guide him on the court. At some point, I took my own wings and went and he will do the same."

The question now is, can Scotty Pippen Jr. fill the shoes of the 6-time NBA champion Scottie Pippen? Without a doubt, it'll be a daunting task for the young Pippen Jr. especially if he plays for teams like the LA Lakers. Purple and Gold are continuously struggling with their season this year and we don't see them contending for a title anytime soon.

Pippen Jr. currently has a 2-way contract with the Lakers, which means he'll be playing on the main roster with the South Bay Lakers. It's still a long way to go for the rookie. Scottie Pippen didn't win a ring until his third season in the NBA. Pippen Jr. can use this time to work on his game and get enough experience to become a certified star in the near future.

Fortunately for Scotty Pippen Jr., the LA Lakers are currently being led by one of the NBA greats LeBron James. The kid from Akron is the type of leader who takes time to get to know his teammates and gives them pointers. Pippen Jr.'s current situation is a great exposure from him. He gets to work with one of the best to ever do it and is getting championship level knowledge from a decorated team.
