The Summer League in Las Vegas will start on July 12. By that time, the Knicks Summer League team should be ready to play and perhaps take the throne in the tournament.
New York Knicks 2024 Summer League Roster
After not having any pick in the 2023 NBA draft, New York will be entering Summer League with four new rookies raring to prove themselves for a Knicks roster spot.
While there is no news yet about the full New York Knicks roster in Summer League, New York’s rookies -- Pacome Dadiet, Tyler Kolek, Ariel Hukporti, and Kevin McCullar Jr. -- are all expected to play.
Dadiet is the Knicks’ 25th overall pick in the draft, their lone first-round selection. Kolek, meanwhile, was picked 34th overall, before McCullar at 56th, and Hukporti at the 58th pick.
Creighton alumnus Alex O’Connell is also invited to the Knicks’ after an Exhibit 10 deal. Another name floating around for the Knicks is South Africa native Samkelo Cele, who played the last two seasons in the Basketball Africa League.
Another potential inclusion to the roster is Lithuanian Rokas Jokubaitas. The 23-year-old point guard was drafted by the Oklahoma City Thunder in 2021, but his rights were traded to the Knicks. However, Jokubaitas' presence in Summer League will depend on whether or not Lithuania qualifies for the Olympics.
