Nikola Jokic reveals hilarious tale of losing not one but two wedding rings during 'JOKER 1' launch

Nikola Jokic was out in public on Monday for the launch of his first signature shoe with the Chinese brand 361 Degrees. One of the features of his shoe is a pocket on the tongue where players like him can put their wedding ring to keep it safe while on the court.

In a video uploaded on X, formerly Twitter, Jokic revealed a hilarious story about his practice of tying his shoes with his wedding ring. It was one of the reasons why 361 Degrees specifically made the pocket, but it seems like the three-time MVP won't be using it.

Jokic explained that he initially lost his wedding ring during a game and his wife Natalija understood. She bought him a new ring but he lost it too.

"Funny story. I lost my ring, and my wife gave me another ring. And I lost that too," Jokic said.

Nikola Jokic has been with his wife Natalija for a long time and are both from Sombor, Serbia. They were high school sweethearts, and she moved with him to the United States.

The couple got married on October 24, 2020, in their hometown. They live in Denver with their two children, a daughter Ognjena and a son.

Jokic unveiled his signature shoe "JOKER 1" to the fans at Ball Arena. It will be released on Dec. 7 in Serbia, Dec. 14 in Chengdu, China and Dec. 21 in Hangzhou, China, per Sports Illustrated. It'll be available in all 361 Degrees stores worldwide in late December.

Nikola Jokic dropped another triple-double on Sunday in the Denver Nuggets' 126-122 loss to the LA Clippers at the Intuit Arena. Jokic finished with 28 points, 14 rebounds and 11 assists, his 138th career triple-double.

It puts him tied in third place with Magic Johnson for the most triple-doubles in NBA history. Jokic is just behind Oscar Robertson with 181 and teammate Russell Westbrook with 200.

At 29, Jokic has plenty of time to catch Robertson and Westbrook before retiring from the NBA.

Following the team's loss to the Clippers, the Nuggets, on Tuesday, welcome the struggling Golden State Warriors. It's their final group game of the 2024 Emirates NBA Cup.
