Nikola Jokic and the Serbian Men's National Basketball team had a great run in the 2024 Paris Olympics. They made it all the way to the semifinals of the tournament and were only defeated by the eventual gold medalist Team USA. Jokic has now stepped forward and labeled that loss as the biggest of his career.
A Jokic fan page reported the news on X, sourcing it from b92 Sport, a Serbian news outlet. According to them, the Denver Nuggets star said:
"It was a good game. Probably the biggest loss of my career so far. A big chance, but there you go ... In the end, they beat us. Some people will see it as a normal defeat, for those of us who played, it must have been the toughest loss in our career."
The team Serbia vs Team USA game at the 2024 Olympics was a nerve-racker for the fans of both the teams around the world. The Serbians had started the game strongly and were successful in establishing an 8-point early lead going into the second quarter.

However, an explosive Stephen Curry performance helped the USA to overcome their opponents with a final score of 95-91. Team USA qualified for the final and went on to win the gold medal for their nation.
