Nina Westbrook delivers two-word joke about Russell Westbrook's six-pack abs
Former MVP Russell Westbrook is looking absolutely shredded heading into his 17th year in the NBA. In a recent photo posted to Instagram, Westbrook can be seen shirtless standing in a pool with what appear to be several dodgeballs, and his six-pack abs on full display. The photo was captured and posted by his wife Nina Westbrook, who provided a hilarious caption to the post.
After a roller coaster of a season that saw him and the LA Clippers eliminated from the first round of the playoffs, rumors began to circulate that Westbrook could be on his way out of LA. According to reports, Nikola Jokic was pushing the Denver Nuggets to acquire Westbrook given that the two players share an agent.
Ultimately, the Clippers wound up trading Westbrook to the Utah Jazz, who then waived the nine-time All-Star, clearing the way for Denver. After clearing waivers, Westbrook signed a two-year deal with the Nuggets in late July, which would carry him through his 18th year in the NBA.
As the Denver Nuggets look to return to championship contention following a year that saw them fail to make the Western Conference Finals, Westbrook will bring some much-needed firepower to the team's bench.
Based on the latest photo from his wife, Nina Westbrook, the future Hall of Famer is in phenomenal shape. Along with a photo of her husband showing off his six-pack, Nina wrote:

Russell Westbrook and Nina Westbook launch all-new charity fund to provide grants and scholarships to underserved communities
Russell Westbrook and his wife have continued to make an impact off the court through their philanthropic work. This week, Russell Westbrook's Why Not Foundation announced a new Changing Lives from Scratch Fund.
The program will give kids in underserved communities in both the United States, as well as Canada, grants and scholarships in partnership with the Little Kitchen Academy. ESPN's SportsCenter account shared news of the new endeavor on Instagram.
Westbrook also shared a news broadcast from Fox LA regarding the Changing Lives from Scratch Fund, with Fox LA's Brooke Thomas covering the story. Westbrook's Why Not Foundation then reposted the footage of Thomas and Fox LA on Instagram, along with a caption explaining the charity's goal:
"The Changing Lives from Scratch Fund aims to provide scholarships and funding opportunities, enabling children from diverse backgrounds to experience the transformative benefits of Little Kitchen Academy."
As Russell Westbrook explained on-air, everything that he and his wife do in regards to charity and philanthropy revolves around providing funding and resources to underserved communities.
While NBA training camps will begin for the rest of the league on Oct. 1, the Denver Nuggets and Boston Celtics can begin their first day of practice on Sept. 25 ahead of the Oct. 4 and Oct. 6 NBA Abu Dhabi games between the two teams.
Between now and then, it appears as though Westbrook is not only continuing to focus on winning an NBA title, but also giving back.
