“No cap bro”- NBA fans equate Donald Trump’s 100% election record against women after defeating Kamala Harris to LeBron James’ prime

Donald Trump outlasted U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris in the tight 2024 Presidential race. The election's ripples were felt not just at the poll centers, but also in the sports world, where fans likened the race to different NBA contexts.

One of them was about Trump’s record against women in Presidential races, as he is now 2-0 against female candidates, following his 2016 win against Hillary Clinton and this year’s victory against Harris.

Fans have since equated it to how LeBron James dominated the NBA during his prime years with the Miami Heat.

“Trump when he goes up against a woman in the elections,” wrote one post, which featured a montage of James in his heydays with the Heat.

Other fans have agreed with the post as they joined the thread.

“No cap bro,” one fan said.
“Yea this is banging😭😭😭,” said another fan.
“Donald Trump has twice stopped a woman from becoming the president!! My goat 🐐,” said another fan.

Meanwhile, other NBA fans came up with their comparisons, mostly highlighting the top performances of a legendary player.

“Bro putting up 2016 Curry numbers,” said one fan.
“He putting up 2024 Luka numbers 😭😭,” said another fan.

One fan also compared him to the 2018 version of LeBron James, who is regarded as the best version of 'The King', considering his performances in that year’s playoffs.

“Trump When it comes to beating women:” wrote the fan while posting a graphic of James’ statline in that year’s playoff rounds.

Aside from the 2-0 record against Clinton and Harris, Trump has lost only once when running for President. That defeat came in 2020 when he was narrowly beaten by current U.S. President Joe Biden, who endorsed Harris in the campaign. Harris was the first woman to be named the Vice President of the nation.

Trump will again be the Commander-in-Chief following the loss to Biden in 2020, after a four-year run as President starting in 2017.

LeBron James endorsed Kamala Harris instead of Donald Trump for the 2024 elections

A few days before the election day came, LeBron James made it known that he would be voting for Kamala Harris in the polls, calling for his followers to vote for her too during the election.

James said the reason behind him supporting Harris was because he thinks the future will be much better for his family with Harris at the country’s helm.

“What are we even talking about here?? When I think about my kids and my family and how they will grow up, the choice is clear to me. VOTE KAMALA HARRIS!!!" James wrote.

James was one of the NBA stars who endorsed Harris during the campaign period. Team USA teammate and Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry also announced his endorsement for Harris a few months back.
