Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors clinched the 6th seed on Sunday in a dominant 157-101 victory against the Portland Trail Blazers. The Warriors now have some time to rest as they wait for the Play-In Tournament to commence. However, Steve Kerr might decide to spend their free time training for their first-round matchup against the Sacramento Kings.
Steph Curry got the job done once again on Sunday. He added 26 points, seven assists, and five rebounds in only 22 minutes of play. Kerr made the right call to bench his stars to let them rest for their upcoming playoff matchup.
The Kings have proven to be worthy contenders in the Western Conference this season. It will be the first time since 2006 that Sacramento has made the playoffs. Some NBA fans are excited to see them back in the postseason and have expressed their support on social media.

The stage is now set for a first-round matchup between the defending champions Golden State Warriors and the Sacramento Kings. While Sacramento remained one of the top teams in the West all season long, Golden State still has a slight advantage. Given how the Kings haven't been in the playoffs since 2006, the Warriors' experience will prove to be their best weapon in this matchup.
Golden State still have the four-time champs on their roster: Steph Curry, Draymond Green, and Klay Thompson. The Warriors' big three dealt with some struggles earlier this year, however, it's undeniable that they can still deal a lot of damage on the court.
