The Thunder bounced back in Game 4, securing a narrow 128-126 victory. MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander starred for OKC with a near triple-double performance of 40 points, nine rebounds and 10 assists. Jalen Williams was not far behind with 34 points on 54.2%, while Chet Holmgren added 21 points, seven rebounds, and three blocks.
Though the Timberwolves won the rebounding battle 41-36, they committed 21 turnovers as opposed to OKC's 14. A particularly glaring stat was the collective scoring output of the starters: the trio of Gilgeous-Alexander, Williams and Holmgren combined for 95 points while Anthony Edwards (16 points), Julius Randle (five points), and Jaden McDaniels (22 points) managed just 43.

Both teams came out blazing in the first quarter, which came to a close with OKC holding a 37-30 lead. The intensity on the offensive end continued in the second quarter, with Gilgeous-Alexander and Holmgren pouring in the buckets and the bench unit of Minnesota keeping the Wolves in the game. At halftime, the Thunder held a 65-57 lead.
In the second half, the Wolves maintained the pressure on OKC, who did enough on both ends of the floor to keep Minnesota at bay. Game 4 came down to a free-throw shooting contest in the final seconds, and the Thunder were able to maintain their composure to pull off the two-point victory.
