Despite not having their superstar on the court, Orlando has had a 12-1 record in these games. Their magical run without Banchero has put them in third place in the Eastern Conference with a 15-7 record.

The Orlando Magic have surprised many by being one of the elite teams in the Eastern Conference this season. What's even more impressive is the fact that they have accomplished this feat without their star player Paolo Banchero. With a 12-1 record in the last 13 games, they aren't showing any signs of slowing down.

On Sunday, the Magic took on the Brooklyn Nets and secured a 100-92 victory. This victory extended their winning streak to six games. Franz Wagner was the star of the night, who took care of business for Orlando. Wagner nearly put up a triple-double and had 20 points, nine rebounds, eight assists and two blocks.

While Wagner was the highest scorer, the others on the team chipped in with solid performances. Goga Bitadze had an all-around double-double performance to help the Magic secure the win. Bitadze put up a stat line of 12 points, 13 rebounds, three steals, two blocks and two assists.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (16 points), Wendell Carter Jr. (14 points), Jalen Suggs (12 points) and Moritz Wagner (12 points) were the four other Magic players who reached double figures.

With the way the team is playing, Paolo Banchero can take time to focus on his recovery. Once he's back, the team may be an even stronger contender in the eastern conference. Banchero tore his right oblique in late October. The forward had played five games this season, before the injury. According to reports, Banchero is likely to make his debut before Christmas.
