Patrick Beverley comically defends Rose from ‘Titanic’ on the arguable proposition of saving Jack from sinking while she is afloat on a door

Patrick Beverley has always been known to be one of the funniest players in the NBA. Although some people out there don't like him because of some of the antics that he's pulled, there's no denying that he's a hilarious person off the court. In one of his recent podcast episodes, he talked about how he watched the movie 'Titanic' recently, and what he said was hilarious.

He said Jack didn't deserve to die in the movie, so take a look at what exactly he said:

"I'm watching the movie 'Titanic,' right? The ladies land in the water on top of a door. They couldn't split that time a little 60/40 like 60 her though, not 60 Jack? Sixty her, maybe my boys not, you know, ice cubed out."

Patrick Beverley Podcast Comments

Although it looks like Patrick Beverley is enjoying his time off the court at the moment, there's no denying that he likely isn't enjoying his time on it. The Los Angeles Lakers have been, arguably, the worst team in basketball to start the season. It's been a major concern for this organization.

Patrick Beverley was added to the team during the offseason and was hopeful that he could possibly be one of the key missing pieces that the Lakers clearly have. Unfortunately, at the moment, it doesn't look like even him doing something is going to be enough to turn the Lakers around. The team has its issues.

Unfortunately, a player like Patrick Beverley isn't going to change that. He might bring some toughness to a team that certainly needs some, but he's not the best outside shooter, which is what the Lakers truly need at the moment.

It's going to be interesting to see how the remainder of the year plays out for the Lakers. Beverley and some of their guys are making guest appearances on their own podcasts and other podcasts, which makes it seem like they aren't necessarily worried about their play on the court.

The Lakers are going to have some interesting decisions to make throughout the next few weeks as there are reports that they could be trading Russell Westbrook. Before Patrick Beverley was traded to Los Angeles, many made it seem as if he and Westbrook had issues.

At the moment, it doesn't look like that's the case as the two of them seem to be good friends on and off the court. This is good news for the Lakers, but it might not matter much considering that we could see Westbrook traded within the next few days to weeks.

Patrick Beverley and the Lakers have a ton of questions they're going to need to answer soon, unless they don't want to make the playoffs this year. He told Lakers fans that he's going to carry their team to the playoffs, so let's see if he can hold up to his end of the bargain. He will have to do all he can to make sure that the Lakers do find themselves in that position.
