Although Patrick Beverley didn't win an NBA title, he is noted for his competitive spirit. Beverley still wants to win a professional championship before retiring. In a vlog he posted on X, he expressed his desire to help his new team win the EuroLeague championship.

"I want complete domination," Pat Bev said. "I want the EuroLeague championship. In order to get the EuroLeague championship, you got to get the EuroCup championship."

According to Sam Garcia of Sports Illustrated, Beverley's new team, Hapoel Tel Aviv, is the frontrunner for the EuroCup title.

The EuroLeague isn't new territory for the veteran guard. He started his professional playing career overseas, playing for BC Dnipro (Ukraine). He was an All-Star for the Ukrainian Basketball League and even won the Slam Dunk contest. He averaged 16.7 points, 7.0 rebounds and 3.6 assists.

Even after the LA Lakers selected him with the 42nd pick in the 2009 NBA Draft, Beverley joined Olympiacos Piraeus (Greece). He helped the Olympiacos win the 2010 Greek Cup despite only playing 22 games.

His final stint in Europe before joining the NBA was with Spartak St. Petersburg (Russia). The veteran guard was named the EuroCup MVP during the 2010-11 season and also won the Defensive Player of the Year.
