Veteran NBA guard Patrick Beverley has kept stuff about his children largely private, but in a rare moment, he took to social media and posted a photo of son Everett celebrating his 10th birthday.
Beverley, 36, currently playing in the Israeli Premier League, greeted his son on an IG story post, highlighting the special bond he has with his children. The former Arkansas player wrote in his post:
"Coolest kid. Happy bday."
Everett is one of four children Partrick Beverley reportedly has before his current relationship with entrepreneur and social media influencer Mandana Bolourchi.
While he hasn't drawn much of the spotlight, Everett has, however, made appearances on his dad's The Pat Bev Podcast. The identity of his mother hasn't been made known to the public.
Meanwhile, before joining the Israeli professional league with Hapoel Tel Aviv, Beverley split time with the Philadelphia 76ers and the Milwaukee Bucks last season, compiling combined averages of 6.2 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.0 assists in 73 games.
In the playoffs, he posted 8.2 ppg. 5.5 apg, 3.2 rpg, 1.2 spg and 1.2 bpg in six games for the Bucks, who were booted out by the Indiana Pacers in the opening round.
Patrick Beverley bonds with kids over NBA 2K
While he's busy as a player. Patrick Beverley makes sure to spend time with his kids as much as possible, and among the activities he likes to bond with them with is NBA 2K.
In one of the episodes of The Pat Bev Podcast last year, just as the rating for NBA 2k24 was released, the fiery combo guard shared how the popular basketball sports simulation video game has been a go-to bonding fare with his kids and how his sons weren't so thrilled about the rating he got.
Beverley said:
"I mean I care though (about my rating). I have children, so they like, 'Damn Dad, why the f***-' Hey, hey, watch it, son. 'I'm just saying dad, you're not a 73,' or, 'You're not- You're at least 78, dad."
While his NBA 2k rating may not be high, in the 12 seasons Patrick Beverley played in the NBA, he made sure that they mattered by playing his heart out every time he took the floor.
He may have passed himself as brash and physical at times, but most players appreciated his competitive fire.
Patrick Beverley has taken his talents to the Israeli league. But before departing the NBA, he had career averages of 8.3 points, 4.1 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.1 steals in 666 games. Along the way, he earned All-NBA Defensive Team nods three times, including one with the First Team in 2017.
