Paul George calls out reporter for stalking them when naked
Paul George made a shocking revelation about an NBA reporter. Keeping the name of the reporter anonymous, the Philadelphia 76ers star alleged that the reporter used to check out the players in the locker room inappropriately.
On his "Podcast P with Paul George," the 76ers star was discussing the NFL players demanding locker room privacy from the reporters. Responding to the allegations by NFL players that some reporters shamelessly check out players' private parts, George said that there were some truths in those allegations.
"There was an incident and there was even way back my time of being in the NBA where guys would talk about this situation," George said [21:45]. "There was a reporter in Washington that would look at, stare at dudes’ meat while they’re in calls or while they’re changing."
The Sixers star also added that the locker room is a safe space for players and it should be treated that way. He also said that sometimes when players are talking to each other, the reporters blow the same story out of proportion in the media.
The issue hasn't been raised by the NBA players.
Paul George says the Clippers' offer was "disrespectful" to him
Paul George played five seasons with the LA Clippers. While the NBA star joined Kawhi Leonard for the 2019-20 season, the Clippers were considered one of the best teams in the NBA and the best team in Los Angeles.
For the next three seasons, since George joined the Clippers, they remained arguably the deepest team in the league. However, the Clippers could never capitalize when they had the best chance. The team was injury-prone and often fell under pressure in the playoffs.
On his podcast in July, the Sixers star revealed the reason behind leaving the Clippers.
“L.A. is home," George said. "This is where I wanted to finish at, and I wanted to work as hard as possible to win one in L.A. That was the goal: to be here and be committed to L.A. As it played out, though, the first initial (offer) was, I thought, kind of disrespectful."
During his stint with the team, Paul George averaged 23.0 points, shooting 45.5%, including 39.7% from the 3-point line. In the playoffs, he averaged 23.4 points, shooting 42.3%, including 34.0% from the 3-point line.
