Paul Pierce roasts the LA Lakers hard after another loss puts them 0-3 in the regular season- “The Lakers team is built worse than Kendrick Perkins”

LeBron James and the LA Lakers are off to a disappointing start after going on a 3-game losing streak.

Paul Pierce could be the happiest NBA legend today as he witnesses his arch-nemesis James and his most despised Lakers team falling apart. He even blatantly roasted LA on Twitter, expressing how much he's loving the purple and gold's current situation.

“The Lakers team is built worse than Kendrick Perkins,” Pierce said.

As we all know, Paul Pierce will forever be a LeBron James hater. His Boston Celtics never made it to the NBA Finals after 2010 thanks to James' Miami Heat. Then there's the LA Lakers, who Pierce despises so much and has faced on several occasions in the Finals against Kobe Bryant. Seeing both LeBron and the Lakers crumbling to pieces is a pleasant sight to see for Pierce.

The LA Lakers just couldn't catch a break earlier on in the season. They now have 0-3 standings and LA fans are beginning to lose hope in their beloved team. In fact, even the players seem to be getting sick of their current situation. Russell Westbrook openly admitted that he no longer knows what to do after their game against the Portland Trail Blazers.

LeBron James, the unanimous leader of the squad, is beginning to show signs of giving up on the Lakers. There's a clip of James showing frustration at Russell Westbrook taking an unnecessary quick shot and missing.

LA had a one-point lead of 102-101 with 20 seconds left on the shot clock and 30 seconds on the game clock. If Westbrook had let the clock run out a bit, the Lakers might've won.

James also admitted that the LA Lakers are undeniably a poor shooting team. Even he himself doesn't know how he can help improve the team's shooting accuracy. Despite their abysmal shooting performance, LA continues to attempt taking shots from deep.

As of the time of publishing, the Lakers are currently a 21% 3-point shooting team. They only made 25 out of 118 attempts.

As mentioned in one of Sportskeeda's articles, The LA Lakers have excellent interior players. They have LeBron James, who has always been a formidable opponent, even when he was just a rookie in 2003. Anthony Davis is another option who has the ability to intimidate his opponents in the post. Even if Russell Westbrook keeps missing his shots, he can simply slide past the defense for a simple layup or slam.

The Lakers can definitely win games if they concentrate more on their strong points and just strengthen their coverage of outside shooters. The Lakers have shown to be a superb defensive squad in their last two games against the Warriors and LA Clippers.

LeBron James, Russell Westbrook, Anthony Davis, and Patrick Beverley, who are all starters, have so far taken the lead on defense. Hopefully they realize this sooner rather than later.
