Paul Walker’s daughter Meadow drops 2-word reaction to Kobe Bryant's daughter Natalia Bryant's F&F tribute
Five-time NBA champion Kobe Bryant and actor Paul Walker were two of the biggest stars of their respective industries in their prime. Now that they have departed, their legacies remain through their daughters, Natalia and Meadow.
Kobe Bryant’s daughter Natalia posted a throwback picture of Paul Walker on the set of a Fast and Furious movie as a tribute to the late actor in an Instagram story. Walker’s daughter Meadow then reposted the story on her account, thanking Bryant for remembering her father.
“Love you ❤️@nataliabryant,” Meadow Walker wrote in her IG story.
Together with the two-word reaction, Meadow posted a link to the Paul Walker Foundation, which aims to keep the legacy of her father alive. The foundation is "dedicated to spontaneous acts of goodwill that empower young people and support the environment they live in."
Meadow launched the foundation in 2015, two years after the actor died in a car crash. They have since launched philanthropic initiatives for those in need.
On the other hand, Natalia is Kobe Bryant’s oldest daughter with her widow, Vanessa Bryant. The 21-year-old is a college student at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.
When she is not living like any other college student, Natalia is helping her mom, Vanessa, take care of her younger sisters; the seven-year-old Bianka Bella and the five-year-old Capri Kobe.
Kobe and his daughter, Gigi Bryant, died in a helicopter crash in January 2020, shocking fans all over the world.
Bryant retired from the NBA in 2016. He finished his career as one of the most prolific scorers in the sport, tallying a total of 33,643 points in his 20-year NBA tenure.
The Lakers retired both his number 8 and 24 jerseys, while the NBA honored him by including him in the 75th-anniversary team composed of the 75 greatest players in the league.
Kobe Bryant consoled actor Vin Diesel shortly after Paul Walker died
Kobe Bryant was close to the "Fast and Furious" franchise cast long before Paul Walker passed away. In one of the interviews ahead of the Fast and Furious 9 movie, Vin Diesel revealed that Bryant was one of the few ones who consoled him after his friend Walker’s untimely passing.
"It's such a shock for us. The world was rocked to the core. He made this world a better world, and for some reason ... obviously, there's the Pablo comparison, but what's ironic is that (Kobe) would say to me, 'How are you doing? I know you miss your brother Pablo,'" Diesel said.
During Bryant’s life, he had close friendships with some of the most famous celebrities in Hollywood. In his public memorial in 2020, celebrities gathered to celebrate his life, including Usher, Alicia Keys, Christina Aguilera and his childhood idol, Michael Jordan.
