"Peach Jam pass time" — Savannah James bides her hours playing Uno while son Bryce James takes part in competition

As Savannah James' son, Bryce James, competes in the EYBL Peach Jam, she's keeping busy by playing Uno. On Saturday, amid Bryce James' struggles at the Peach Jam, Savannah James took to her Instagram story with a photo, giving followers a glimpse at how she's passing time when her son isn't playing.

With one son, Bronny James, playing in the NBA 2K25 Las Vegas Summer League, and another playing in the Nike Elite Youth Basketball League's annual tournament in South Carolina, LeBron and Savannah James have been busy.

Bronny played two of the Lakers' three games at the California Classic, before then playing at the NBA 2K25 Summer League in Las Vegas, where the team failed to qualify for the playoffs. Instead, they will play an additional consolation game Saturday evening against the Chicago Bulls.

At the same time, Bryce James and Strive for Greatness are competing in Nike's EYBL tournament. The tournament tipped off on July 13 and runs through Sunday, July 21.

Throughout the tournament, Savannah James has continued to give fans updates via Instagram. In the latest update, she is playing Uno to pass the time.

Looking at how Bryce James and his team have been playing at the EYBL Peach Jam amid Savannah James' Instagram post

As previously mentioned, Bryce James is competing with Strive for Greatness, abbreviated to SFG on the Nike EYBL website. The group played their first game of the tournament on Friday, July 12, picking up a 72-60 win where Bryce James logged three points, two rebounds and a block.

The team then lost two straight, falling to Nightrydas Elite of Florida and City Rocks of New York before beating Wisconsin's Team Herro, the EYBL team founded by Tyler Herro and his father, Chris Herro.

Savannah James' son Bryce James and Strive for Greatness then built on their win streak, winning back-to-back games against the Arizona Unity and Boo Williams of Virginia.

Bryce James logged four points, four rebounds and two blocks in Wednesday's game against the Unity, before then struggling with three points and a block on 1-of-5 shooting from the field in SFG's 74-72 win over Boo Williams.

Bryce notably had a highlight-reel block that went viral on X, formerly known as Twitter, this week. It caught the attention of fans who are eager to see his growth in the years to come.

While Bryce has expressed doubt that he and his brother Bronny will both play with their dad, if Bryce James continues to evolve, he could well find himself in the NBA alongside his brother Bronny in the future.
