D'Angelo Russell and his girlfriend, Laura Ivaniukas, welcomed their second child - a daughter named Mila - in August. Since then, Ivaniukas has consistently posted pictures of her daughter on her social media.

On Sunday, the Lakers star's partner shared a photo of her daughter basking in the sunlight from her stroller. Mila looked adorable in a pink zip-up jacket layered over a white dress covered in heart prints. She also wore a white hat, smiled, and gazed away from the camera.

Before his girlfriend was about to give birth to Mila, Russell was excited and anxious about being a girl dad. He told Andscape's Marc J. Spears in April that he asked many questions about fatherhood from both LeBron James and Anthony Davis, who gave their prized intel to Russell.

He also said that he had been asking his friends who have daughters, and they told him it would change him for the better.

“All my friends have girls and they say, ‘It’s everything and it’s going to change you.'" Russell said. "A lot of people around me have [daughters]. I try to ask all the right questions and prepare myself for it.”

Almost 9 months later, the Lakers star and his longtime girlfriend are a happy family with a son and a daughter.

As for D'Angelo Russell's performance this season, it has been a tough season for him so far. In 18 games for the Lakers, he has come off the bench 10 times after starting the season as a starter. He is averaging a career-low in points per game [11.8], field-goal percentage [39.7] and 3-point percentage [29.4].
