Milwaukee Bucks star Damian Lillard, also known as Dame D.O.L.L.A., linked up with Grammy-winning rapper Lil Wayne on Sunday in Milwaukee. Lillard shared a photo with the rapper on Instagram, featuring their collaboration song, "Loyal to the Soil" as the audio for his story.
This comes just over a month after Damian Lillard revealed that he and Lil Wayne have a bunch of unreleased songs together.
"@liltunechi pulled up on bra in MKE," Lillard wrote in the caption. "It's Lil Tunechi the best rapper alive."
In an appearance on the "Club 520 Podcast" in August, Lillard highlighted Wayne as his favorite collaborator and noted that they have many songs yet to be released.
“My favorite collab so far, I gotta say Lil Wayne. The first time I got with Wayne, it was actually somebody who reached out to me for him. They said: ‘He wanted to work with you because he likes how you don’t try to rap like a rapper. He can tell you’re just rapping like you,’ so we connected like that," Lillard said.
"Me and Wayne have so many songs together that haven’t even been released. Because everything I send him, he does it and just sends it right back. There’s a bunch of sh*t that we haven’t put out. I actually went to the studio with him, and being able to see it, I was like ‘damn.'”
