Donovan Mitchell is coming off one of his best individual years in the league, playing for the Cavaliers. With the NBA offseason still underway, Mitchell was spotted alongside singer Coco Jones at an Usher concert.
Their image was shared on X by user 'NBA GOSSIP' (@nbagossipp), showing the two enjoying the event while holding hands.
NBA players are no strangers to being spotted with celebrities out in public, considering the kind of stature they have. The Cavaliers star and the 'ICU' artist seem to be very good friends and several people have shared pictures of the two together on social media.
Mitchell finished last season averaging 26.6 points (46.2% shooting), 6.1 assists and 5.1 rebounds per game.

Michael Rubin is recognized as the founder of the popular sports platform Fanatics. He is also known for throwing his '4th of July White Party' each year which features several celebrities, from professional athletes to Hollywood actors.
During this year's party, Coco Jones was spotted interacting with Donovan Mitchell's sister Jordan Mitchell. X user 'NBA GOSSIP' (@nbagossipp) shared a snap of the two from Elder Ordonez's Instagram stories. Mitchell also shared on the platform an image he took with his sister.
Meanwhile, the Cavaliers guard was spotted alongside other NBA players at the party. They were: Pacers' Tyrese Haliburton, Hornets' Grant Williams, Clippers' Mo Bamba, Magic guard Cole Anthony and star forward Paolo Banchero.
Following the event, Coco Jones and five-time NBA All-Star Donovan Mitchell shared numerous snaps from the party on their Instagram handles.
Other celebrities who took the time to attend the party included Canadian rapper Drake, NFL legend Tom Brady and even media personality Kim Kardashian.
Donovan Mitchell reacted to Usher's 2024 NFL Super Bowl performance
It was a thrilling game between the Chiefs and the 49ers but it was the halftime performance of Usher that had Donovan Mitchell ecstatic. He shared his reaction to the 'My Boo' singer showcasing his brilliance on the stage while the crowd sang along to several of his iconic R&B and pop songs.
"Nah Usher going crazy," Mitchell posted.
It wasn't just Mitchell who was thrilled at seeing Usher perform but also Atlanta Hawks superstar Trae Young. He shared on X how he appreciated the artist giving Atlanta a special shout-out during his performance, considering that both represent the city with their profession.
Former NBA players Kendrick Perkins and Jalen Rose also reacted to the singer's halftime Super Bowl show. Some of the songs from Usher's set list included 'Caught Up', 'Love In This Club', 'Superstar', 'Yeah!' and 'Bad Girl'.
