Bukayo Saka and Jaylen Brown, two superstars from different sports, have become good friends. The Arsenal football player posted eight photos on his Instagram account on Thursday, the second one showing him and the Boston Celtics star sitting together.
The 2024 Finals MVP reposted the image of him and Saka sitting together on Instagram.
This isn't the first time the two stars have been seen together. Saka and Brown swapped jerseys on Mar. 14, 2023, when the Arsenal star watched a Boston Celtics game.
Saka is a 23-year-old forward from the United Kingdom who plays for Arsenal, a club in the English Premier League. Saka has also suited up for England's national football team.
In 2023, Saka signed a contract extension to remain with Arsenal. Per Sportrac, his initial contract with Arsenal was a four-year deal worth $6,240,000 (2020-2024).
His extension gave him a large pay raise, as his new four-year contract with Arsenal is worth $40,560,000.
Meanwhile Jaylen Brown has the second-biggest contract in the NBA, behind only teammate Jayson Tatum.
Brown signed a supermax extension with the Boston Celtics in 2023. The extension is reportedly worth $304,000,000 and, at the time, was the biggest deal in NBA history. This extension keeps him under contract with the Celtics until the 2028-29 season.
This was surpassed when Tatum signed a five-year, $315,000,000 extension in July.

Looking back at the game where Jaylen Brown and Bukayo Saka swapped jerseys
On Mar. 14, 2023, the Boston Celtics hosted the Phoenix Suns in the TD Garden. That game was the second and final time these two teams faced each other in the 2023-24 season.
Jaylen Brown torched the Suns for a game-high 37 points in that matchup. He grabbed five rebounds, dished three assists and came away with two steals. Brown's high-scoring performance helped the Celtics secure a 15-point victory (127–112).
Arsenal star Bukayo Saka was at the TD Garden to watch the Celtics' victory over the Suns. After the game, Brown and Saka met and exchanged jerseys.
A photo of the moment was snapped and posted by the Celtics' Instagram page along with a clip that showed Saka signing his jersey for the NBA star.
