PHOTO: Kawhi Leonard's hippie costume steals the show at rapper 2Chainz’s birthday celebration

Kawhi Leonard was one of the guests at the birthday party of famous rapper 2Chainz, who turned 47 last Thursday. The LA Clippers star posted a picture from the party with the rapper and wished him a happy birthday on his social media on Sunday.

Leonard's hippie costume was a show-stealer at the rapper's birthday party. In the picture, he was wearing a colorful hat and black sunglasses. Leonard was also rocking a half-sleeve white shirt and hippie-style green pants.

It is very rare for the Clippers star to be seen in this kind of clothing. He is perhaps the simplest guy when it comes to dressing before games. He is mostly seen either with his joggers and hoodie or a T-shirt paired with his joggers for the game.

Leonard is also very private in his life. He doesn't share much about his personal life on his social media. Earlier in June, Leonard posted pictures from his tour to Costa Rica. He celebrated his 33rd birthday on the road.

Former NBA player names Kawhi Leonard as the greatest NBA player not to win MVP award

Kawhi Leonard is a Hall of Fame caliber player. He has achieved numerous accolades in his NBA career and surely more in the postseason than the regular season.

Leonard has won the Defensive Player of the Year award as well as two NBA Finals MVP Awards. However, as great as he has been, The Klaw has never won a regular-season MVP award.

In an episode of NBA Today, former NBA player Kendrick Perkins declared Leonard the greatest player in NBA history to not have won an MVP award.

"I am going with Kawhi Leonard, Kawhi Leonard Jordan," Perkins said. "Some of the greatest playoff runs in the history of the game then broke up happy homes."
"He made one of the greatest players of all time tap out, and I'm talking about LeBron James, especially when Kawhi was in San Antonio. What he did, that Finals run when he was in Toronto, helped them deliver their first championship in franchise history. Kawhi Leonard is the guy I'm rolling with," added Perkins.

The top regular-season award Leonard has won is Defensive Player of the Year. He won the DOPY award two consecutive times in the 2014-15 and 2015-16 seasons. In the 2015-16 season, Leonard also came closest to the MVP award when he received the second-most votes behind unanimous MVP Steph Curry.
