The Philadelphia 76ers opened their season with a matchup against the Milwaukee Bucks at Wells Fargo Center on Wednesday night. 76ers guard Tyrese Maxey looked to pick up where he left off last season after signing a five-year, $203 million deal in the offseason.

Maxey wasn't the only one looking to show out, as the 76ers star's girlfriend arrived at the game dressed stylishly in all-black, accentuated by a blue Saint Laurent bag.

Tyrese Maxey, 76ers fall in season opener

The Philadelphia 76ers struggled in their season opener with the absences of Joel Embiid and Paul George. Paul George was sidelined with a knee injury, while Joel Embiid was announced to be absent for the first week of the season.

With injuries to their stars, the 76ers suffered a 124-109 loss at the hands of the Milwaukee Bucks. Unlike the 76ers, the Bucks had their stars Damian Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo available.

Lillard posted 30 points, nine rebounds and six assists on 9-for-19 shooting, connecting on six of his 12 attempts from beyond the arc. Antetokounmpo had an efficient game, notching 25 points, 14 rebounds and seven assists on 8-for-11 shooting.

Tyrese Maxey had a solid — albeit inefficient — performance in the season opener. In 39 minutes, Maxey logged a team-high 25 points, six rebounds and three assists, converting only 10 of his 31 attempts.

The fifth-year guard will look to bounce back as Philadelphia takes on the Toronto Raptors on Friday night.
